I. Job OverviewOverall responsible for end-to-end consulting services and business development of Chinese Certified Emission Reduction (CCER) projects. Lead the development and application filing of CCER projects, coordination with validation and verification bodies, and formulation of trading strategies. In addition, conduct market development and customer relationship management for green finance-related projects to drive sustainable growth of the company’s carbon asset management and carbon finance consulting businesses. II. Core Job Responsibilities1.End-to-End CCER Project Consulting Oversee overall planning and implementation of CCER projects, including project design, methodology matching, baseline scenario identification and additionality demonstration. Take charge of drafting Project Design Document (PDD), coordinate third-party validation and verification bodies to complete project validation and emission reduction verification, and ensure successful filing and issuance of emission reductions in the national registration system. 2.Carbon Asset Management & Trading Strategy Formulation Monitor and analyze policy trends and real-time data of the national carbon market and CCER trading market, and provide clients with portfolio management advice on carbon assets. Develop trading strategies for carbon allowances and CCERs, assist clients in compliance fulfillment management, and deliver risk early warning and post-event review analysis. 3.Business Development & Client Acquisition Identify business opportunities in green finance sectors, including CCER development, carbon inventory accounting, ESG assessment, green bonds and green credit. Lead business negotiations, bidding processes and contract signing; develop and maintain sound cooperative relationships with key emission entities, financial institutions, industry associations and competent government authorities. 4.Policy Research & Compliance Control Keep updated on domestic and international latest regulations and policies regarding the dual-carbon strategy, carbon credit mechanisms, SBTi initiatives and ESG disclosure standards, and provide forward-looking policy interpretation and compliance advice for internal teams and clients. Control project schedule and deliverable quality, and guarantee all consulting outputs comply with national standards and industrial specifications. III. Job Qualifications & Requirements1.Educational Background Full-time bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Environmental Engineering, Energy Economics, Finance, Climate Change, Public Policy or related disciplines are preferred. Candidates with an interdisciplinary background combining environmental studies with finance or public policy are highly favored. 2.Professional Experience At least 3 years of working experience in carbon asset management, carbon trading or carbon consulting. Proven track record of independently leading CCER project development, corporate carbon verification, or carbon neutrality planning for large organizations. Prior consulting experience serving key emission entities or multinational enterprises is a plus. 3.Professional Competencies Proficient in core standards including ISO 14064 and GHG Protocol; in-depth understanding of the latest CCER methodologies (e.g., afforestation carbon sinks, grid-connected concentrated solar power generation, methane emission reduction) as well as registration, filing and trading rules. Excellent capabilities in drafting project proposals, emission reduction schemes and verification reports. 4.Comprehensive Personal Qualities Strong market acumen and business development capabilities, resilient under pressure, and available for occasional business trips. Clear logical thinking, outstanding cross-departmental communication and coordination skills, with solid client service awareness. 5.Professional Certifications Candidates holding National Registered GHG Verifier Certificate, Carbon Asset Manager Certificate, CCER Project Development / Validation & Verification Training Certificate, PAS2050 certification, CFA-ESG or other relevant credentials are preferred. IV. Core Competencies1.Industry InsightThorough comprehension of the underlying logic and future trends of the national carbon market and voluntary emission reduction market. 2.Practical Implementation Ability Capable of independently resolving complex technical challenges and compliance risks arising throughout CCER project development. 3.Resource Integration Capability Excellent internal and external resource coordination skills to efficiently drive full-cycle project delivery from development to trading.
